2023 Fall & 2024 Winter Construction Management Career Fair Insights

The California Center for Construction Education (CCCE) hosted two successful construction management career fairs this past academic year, providing valuable opportunities for students and industry professionals to connect.

The Fall 2023 Career Fair was held at Madonna Inn over two days, maximizing the opportunities for students to connect with companies. With over 300 attendees each day and 180 companies total, the fall career fair is the largest and most comprehensive networking event for students pursuing careers in construction management at Cal Poly.

The Winter 2024 Career Fair brought together 95 companies and over 200 students. This year’s Winter Career Fair saw a 15% increase in attendance from the previous year. The event also attracted a diverse range of majors, with over a third from majors outside of CM.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Rachell Smith, CCCE Program Manager and Event Director and Planner, and her dedicated team of CCCE Ambassadors and student volunteers. Their hard work and dedication were instrumental in making these career fairs such great successes.
